I have 15 years experience as a Director and DOP working on TV commercials and promotional films. During this time I’ve worked for a variety of clients such as Disney, LinkedIn and Heineken.

I’ve spent a year working as the gaffer on the double Emmy award winning Netflix series ‘Tiny Creatures’ and I still continue to offer my lighting skills on commercials, TV dramas and films.

Early in my career I spent 3 years developing ideas for TV programmes. I wrote treatments and shot tasters for everything from wildlife  documentaries to cookery shows.

Over the last few years I’ve been increasingly working as a stills photographer and have already shot for a diverse mix of brands and businesses including Canon, Puma Golf, Yale and LRQA.

I love location and studio shoots equally and can turn my hand to any subject and style.

I mainly work on commercial, advertising, branded and promotional content, but I also really enjoy live event and portrait shoots as well.

I’m based in Norwich UK but am available to work worldwide.

So whether you're an agency looking to trust someone to execute your ideas, a brand or business looking for continuity across your photos and films or an individual looking for a creative collaboration I would love to talk to you about your next project.

I’m a light shaping, problem solving, client pleasing, commercial & advertising photographer - producing bold and beautiful video and stills.

Environmental Policy for Luke Witcomb Photography

I am committed to minimising the environmental impact of my photography business and strive to make responsible choices that contribute to the well-being of the planet for current and future generations.

Transportation and Travel:

I will use virtual meetings to reduce the need for travel whenever feasible.

I will prioritise environmentally friendly transportation options for my photography productions. This may include utilising public transportation, carpooling, or choosing low-emission vehicles when necessary.

Resource Conservation:

I will make conscious efforts to reduce resource consumption. This includes minimising energy usage on set and at my editing workstation. I will use energy effective lighting such as LEDs,   I will encourage plant based catering on my sets and avoid palm oil. I am implementing practices to reduce water consumption. I will also strive to minimise waste generation.

Sustainable Materials:

Whenever possible, I will choose sustainable and eco-friendly materials and products that have minimal environmental impact. No single use plastic water bottles will be used on a shoot. When buying equipment I will invest in quality products that are built to last, and when reliability can be assured I’d look to buy second hand over new.

This is an abbreviated version - the full policy can be supplied on request.
